question?
is there anyone out there who may alternate between veganism and vegetarianism? if so, have you encounter any problems with people saying 'pick one or the other?' just curious,
veronica
Thanks Akgirl and Yabbitgirl you have put a little extra sunshine in my day :)
BTW yabbitgirl I have no nieces of nephews but my sis is trying for one so fingers crossed.
Auntie Shantianti?
I, like many other people here would consider myself more of a "pure vegetarian" i tell people that i'm vegan but if anyone ever asked I would be sure to clarifty for them that I don't EAT any animal products (nor do I WEAR any animals but things like the pair of clogs I've had since before I made the switch last year and remnants of a yarn stash that might, or might not, i don't rememeber by now, have wool in it I still have around because i think it's wasteful to just throw those things away and almost as bad as just buying them in the first place). as for the products that use animal ingredients such as shampoo and other things, I don't buy those items in my house since I'm still in high school but once I move out I plan to.
I think that being vegan or being vegetarian is whatever you want it to be. It's how you live because it's all about our beliefs, isn't it? How can someone tell you what your beliefs are and fit them into a box??
