In search of Pirogies

pirogies(Is that how you spell it?) They are little pasta thingys filled with potato and onion. They are right next to the frozen veg entries at my grocery store and I always stand there salivating thinking "I know they have eggs and dairy in them, but..." Although I have not given into this temptation- Id really like to eat some of these. Does anyone have a recipe? Or else does someone have the time to veganize a traditional recipe and share?
i have also found vegan ones in one store. every new store i go into, i check all the pierogies. if you have a wegmans around, thats where i found them. ive made them from scratch before and they took hours, baypuppys suggestion of using wonton wrappers would save you lots of time.

The recipe in the link is amazing. And you can freeze them and the turn out great.
