It's been pouring rain in Michigan too! As I was doing my last minute shopping the streets were flooded with rain and melting snow! And it was so warm today I didn't need to wear my coat! Such crazy weather--one day it's -27 and a frozen tundra, the next it's 38 and flooding!!!
Well, anyways, I hope Santa has his rain gear ready ;D
It's supposed to start raining pretty hard today in L.A. (but hasn't started yet... we'll see. It looks pretty gloomy outside). We usually don't get rain much, so I like it... rain always makes me sleepy/nostalgic-feeling for some reason. Plus, it cleans up the air!
Rain will make the "nuclear fallout" tomorrow even better (we live in a shopping-type area, always pedestrians, cars, traffic, etc, and on Christmas and New Year's day it's completely dead. = fallout). ;D
It's supposed to be nice and drizzly in A-town.
Its rainy in Cleveland, too. What is up?
It was sunny and 70-something in Tampa. IMO, the very best Christmas is one you can spend lying on the beach listening to the gulls.

We've got the same weather here in San Antonio. 8)
Snowed this morning, big beautiful flakes, then let up so everyone could travel safely, expecting more snow this evening. Cold and sunny tomorrow :)
You can have some snow, veganhippie, I have plenty!

My friend who grew up here but moved to Naples half way through High School is flying up on Friday :)
She wants to play in the snow.
You know, this thread got me thinking. And I asked my hubby. I live in S. Spain and it has NEVER rained on Christmas. (Snow isn't even an option...though it did snow once about 60 yrs ago when DH was a wee tad). Granted we've had drought conditions since I got here, but even before that, never have they had real rain on the 24th-25th. Maybe a bit of fog, but no more than that.
I love rain, so I'd be pleased, but it would spoil the holiday for others. Snow would be even better...but it would cause havoc because most andaluces have never even seen it, let alone try to drive in it!
Yep rainy and entirely TOO WARM here in NC. ::)
Christmas day here in Michigan and the snow and rain have all stopped. Now it is so beautiful and sunny!
It rained last night, but now it's very windy here in Moncton, but sunny. I will probably go out later on.
Rain makes me happy, so my Christmas was especially enjoyable in southern California.
Rainfall, grey skies and some howling winds are some of nature's best Christmas gifts.
Today, sunshine warms my face and everything looks greener.
