ok, i got a tattoo behind my parent's back and now i have to go get blood work done before i go to college. will the results show that i have a tattoo??? please help!!!
I'm no expert, but I don't see how a blood test would show that you have a tattoo.....
I also got a tattoo (on my shoulder) behind my parents back when I was 17 using a fake ID....I had to constantly hide it, which I did successfully for almost 6 month, but one day my mom walked in on me changing....and well, secret discovered.....surprisingly, she didn't really care.
Where did you get it?
I'm pretty sure you will be ok. Blood tests are usually done to check for diseases and drug use if I'm not mistaken. Tattoos don't have anything to do with that and I doubt that your doctor would be like "we discovered that your daughter has a secret tattoo that she has been hiding from you for months".
I wouldn't worry about it.

Nah I would worry about all the crack cocaine you are smoking...
:-D
I also got my tattoo behind my mother's back when I was 16. I was only able to keep it from her for about a month. She was upset about it (mostly at my aunt who signed for it) but at that point what could she do.
The only common thing tattoo related that would come up in a blood test is if you come up positive for Hep C. Which would only happen if your artist didn't use sterile equipment. An overly 'concerned' family friend who's a nurse has told me repeatedly that I should get vaccinated for it, since I do like to get tattoos/pierced.
My husband is a tattoo artist. You are safe. No blood tests show that you have had a tattoo. ;)b
On a side note some tattoo inks have animal product in them, usually the inks used for cosmetic tattooing. So you may want to check what brand ink your artist uses to make sure it is animal product free.
