peep show for my new book!
YAY! I finally got my "peep show" up and running on my website. I have had several requests for an inside look at my book, so instead of replying individually, I am just posting a general announcement. The link below has several pages from the book, including recipes, food chapter pages, table of contents, etc...hopefully readable for everyone!
Also, one of the recipes is for the banana muffins...I can't remember who wanted that, sorry! (For those not familiar with the book, it contains over 230 vegan recipes as well as a complete toolkit for inner well-being, a nutrition chapter, kitchen set-up, funny stuff, and lots more)

Given the calibre of most of the threads here on VegWeb, I thought this thread would be naughtier. None the less, the apple puffs recipe looks pretty ace ;)b

I just wanted to say that Tess's book is awesome!!!!
It is soo much more than a cookbook. It has been very inspiring and I have noticed significant changes in my little life just from reading the first couple of chapters and using some of Tess's suggestions. Wonderful. I mean it. Get a copy!
I'll buy a copy after the first of the year. My stupid apartment complex stopped receiving USPS packages through the end of december due to X-mas and I can't get to the post office in time to pick packages before they close.

It certainly is! I can't cook any of the recipes just yet because I've got two more weeks doing high raw, but there is so much more to this book than just recipes.

Thanks!! Storm, you do realize that there is a chapter on raw foods, right? It is called "The Raw Dimension" and has lots of yummy raw food recipes and ideas... ;)b

Sorry for the rated G disappointment. Story of my life. ;D Anyhoo....yes the apple puffs are sick. Really so good. I mean it when I say you will score yourself a raise or marriage proposal with them!! ;)b

could I order the book using someone else's address, so it can be shipped there as a gift? Obviously the shipping address won't match the billing address on the credit card, and the addressee's name won't match that of the contact email (mine)...
Also, could I order it now (so I don't forget!) and have it ship a day or two before Christmas?

No problem. On my order form, simply put the person's address that you want it shipped to, and make a note in the comments field (such as if you want me to enclose a note that it is a gift from you, or if you want me to sign the book).
Some people don't fill out the order form, and simply pay using paypal. But in your case, just make sure to fill out the form so I know what to do...I will then make sure to ship it when you want as well. If you are hoping it arrives just in time for Christmas, I would recommend it shipping on the 19th, just in case. Of course, you can order it before then if you want to make sure to get it- I will hold it for you. I can also put a sticker on the outside that says "Do not open until Christmas!" if you like. ;)b

That's weird! I always mail books priority (within the US) the same day, and they are supposed to arrive w/in 3 biz days max. Yours should have arrived by the 11th. Would you let me know when you get it? Everything coming in has been much slower though because of the holidays-I still haven't received 2 things that were sent the last week of Novemeber! :P

Mine just arrived! Even though it was stamped on December 6th, it took until the 15th with priority mail. Interestingly enough it had a big sticker on it "Surfact transportation only" - what the heck?

I was thinking as opposed to air. If you send something priority mail from Colorado to MA, I would imagine it would go by air, but what do I know? I have just never seen that type of sticker on a priority mail package, must be something new!
