If you could go anywhere, where would you go?

Okay, so I am bored at work, passing the last 45 minutes untill I go home.

But for me the answer to this question is Svalbard.  It is the island north of Norway way up there close to the north pole.  Pictures I see of it look beautiful.  But I am into finding places as isolated as possible.

What about you?

I want to go places in New Zealand! I heard it's so beautiful there.

Isolation is great.

As for me... at this point, I'd just like to go to sleep for longer than 4 hours.

Sorry Tkitty, didn't realize you were sleep deprived.  I feel selfish all of a sudden, due to boredom, and my prescription that I am on I sleep between 8 to 10 hours a night.  I guess I shouldn't be complaining... ::)

Not a big deal at all!!  I've always been a night person, and no matter what I cannot fall asleep till 1 at the earliest.  Then by 5:15 my youngest is up and ready for the day.  And I have to get my oldest ready for the bus, so...

But seriously, complain away!  I want to travel to... latest dream destination is Ireland.

If you ever get to go...go to the Western side where the Burren is located near Ballyvaughn in May and June.  Very pretty scenery with all the flowers growing out of the rocks plus lots of historic sites to see.

Siberia? I don't know about isolated places.

First, Normandy. I have a private obssession about visiting Lisieux. France in general, but Lisieux particularly.
Then, maybe NZ, if (dreaming here) I could fly first or business class. I've always wanted to see it, but the flight is soooo long! A friend did a "working holiday" there in college and I still remember the beautiful photos.

I'd also like to see Jutland (in Denmark) where my paternal grandmother was born.

i would go HOME!  there is no place in the world that i'd rather be than in my home with my child.  the ONLY place i feel totally at peace, in sync, and in harmony with all that encompasses the world in which i live.

That's true there is no place like home in this world.

Puerto Rico, Wales (and the rest of the UK, for the most part), India, Vietnam, Thailand, China, and so many more. I think, really, I'd like to go everywhere at some point.

, Wales (and the rest of the UK, for the most part),

Wales is beautiful!! And not just because my mom's dad was Welsh. I was there in October one year and it was gorgeous, and we even had a lot of sunny (windy, too!) weather.

That's awesome! I'm welsh, and grew up in an area that had a lot of welsh names and mythology built into it, so I have a few reasons to want to visit. ^_^

Costa Rica.  I've wanted to go there since I learned that it existed!
