Hopi Reservation

Anyone been to the Hopi Reservation?
Any tips on travelling there?  I've had the biggest urge to travel and go... hard to find out info, besides plane tickets and motel... but looking for more details...

thanks.

I've never been to the reservation itself....but I do know quite a bit about the culture....what details are you looking for?

I live about 2-3 hours from Hopiland, I haven't personally spent alot of time out there but my husband used to stay there once or twice a week for work. He stayed at the Hopi Cultural Center, the center has a ton of info on different attractions and such. They also have a restraunt but I always bring my own food because it is damn near impossible to find ANY Vegetarian, much less, vegan options.

That's exactly some of the stuff I wanted to know.
Mostly, the food options, but also how you go about getting there (via nearest airport and transportation, are there busses or would I have to rent a car?)
I was actually checking out the Hopi Cultural Center and planned on that one.  I was wondering how close it was to the Reservation and how visiting the actual reservation works?
I guess I need a travel agent, right!? haha.

Thanks so much for the help.

I want to visit and feel the life and energy there, but it also scares me cause I'm sure there's a lot of animal eating! haha.
