Help a girl identify a fabric!

Hey Vegwebbers,
Okay in the photo in the link on the bottom I'm really trying to identify the name of the fabric used on the bluish grayish jacket. If anyone could give me any hints that'd be great. The only distinct characteristic I can point out is that the fibers are of varying thickness. Also I think old navy tends to use it a lot. It's probably man-made but I really wouldn't know.

is it twill? Its a cotton, i believe, and should be tightly woven and heavy for its weight b/c it is often pretty stiff. There are diff weights available...from quite thick to something thin, like im sure old navy would use.
I cant quite tell from the pic tho, so.... ???
it looks like a cotton twill to me or a light weight canvas (basically the same thing). It could also be a polyester blend if it has that's shiny soft plastic like feel. Those are my best guesses
