Memorial Day 2008 marks my 10 year veggiversary! I ate my last bit of meat exactly 10 years ago and haven't looked back since! We had cooked some beef fajitas at home and I got so deathly ill I was in bed for 2 days and throwing up. I had already banned chicken from my diet from another disgusting experience, so I decided that day I was not meant to eat meat.
I can't remember when I made the vegan leap but I think it was about 6 years ago.
I actually forgot about this, but my dh reminded me, which I am hoping means he will cook me a yummy meal (and dessert) to celebrate!
:)>>>
WOOHOO!!!
Are you cooking anything special to celebrate?!
Awesome, L2A! 10 years....very impressive. I wish I had been vegan during my pregnancies.
Congratulations! :)>>>

it was good, but dont use frozen/thawed tofu for the scramble!

Brinner, that's a good one....we had "Dunch"....its a word my 8 year old made up for when we have a really late lunch or early dinner. Plus, its fun to say dunch....
Brinnner, haha. ;D
Happy anniversary L2A! ;)b

I had that for dinner tonight also! AND thought about starting a thread about it....because I was thinking "this breakfast scramble never ceases to amaze me." Seriously, it is so good. Everytime I eat it, it totally hits the spot. Awesome.

It's CALLED dinfast, people. And it is indeed the best. ;D
Welcome (JM)2! congrats on your vegiversary, too.
I just had "The Best Scramble Ever" for dinner....again.
I suppose I could celebrate my VEGgiversary now... I don't have an official "date", but it was about this time last year that I decided to make it official.
Yay for us!
