So, I just called to set up an appointment to get braces. I need to know if you pay anything up front or if they usually break up the payments? Also, I have bad-but-working on it credit. Does that matter at all?

My parents paid because it was so long ago, but from what my mom said recently, it was an up-front decided upon fee without interest and it covered everything. I don't mean you paid up-front, but it was a set fee.
I've heard that the price of orthodontia has gone up quite a bit and you might want to see if something like Invisalign is cheaper for you-- a friend of mine who didn't have horrible teeth, but needed braces did invisalign and it was cheaper than braces for her. I suggest checking out prices and such??
I have horrible teeth. I thought braces are cheaper than Invisilign.... I was thinking aobut getting veneers too, but I would rather fix my teeth rather than hide the problem.
I'm more concerned with the price in I hope I can get an installment deal. I have Ameriplan so it's not an insurance, it just gives discounted rates on things and the going rate around here is $2200.
