Boston Area Vegans-- TJ's closed?!

Hello New England vegans-- I recently moved to CA but have a friend who is vegan and just moved to Boston. He claims that TJ's (the vegan pizza place by Grasshopper in Allston) is CLOSED. What is this about?! Can anyone verify this? :'( :'( :'(
Yes it is definitely closed. But a new place, called Peace O' Pie, is slated to open by the end of the month. It's all vegan "gourmet" pizza with whole wheat and gluten free options.
Hmm. Thanks for the verification algae, I looked it up and their website says nothing about being closed. Let me know how the new place is :) TJ's was always a bit too "real" for me to enjoy eating too much of their pizza.
TJ's is closed?! Damn!! I know exactly what you mean with your "real" comment owalkerjillo- when I went there last year I felt exactly like I was in a regular pizza joint. But it was all veg, which was SO awesome (cheese pizza was the only thing that was keeping me from being vegan for so long). I hope the Peace O' Pie place is just as tasty.
Peace O' Pie is supposed to be better. They're going to use Daiya cheese and they're going to be run a lot more professionally (supposedly).
But the yummy meatball sub.....boohoo...I loved it so much!
not having the tuesday all-you-can-eat vegan pizza buffet is seriously affecting my life. i went to the last buffet before they closed and it was extremely sad, although i self-medicated with several slices of cheezeburger pizza.

That Daiya cheese is the shit!!! They use it at a chain called "zpizza". WAY better than any soy cheese I've ever tasted.
