half of me thinks that this post will have to be deleted because of its inappropriate nature, but lets see shall we...If you don't want to read it- don't.

Um, so my male and female are spayed and neutered (respectively) You may remember that the two border collies are not spayed. Well today, i let all six dogs outside and was getting ready for a Dr's apt. Suddenly I heard some of my sweet angels making puppy screams. It was the type where you think "Oh my god, one of my babies are dying" not "erg, now I gotta go see what the crap they are up too..." So I dashed out into the back yard and saw D'artagnon and Deogi with their tales all twisted up. D'artagnon was yelping and Deogi pulled away. I guess that D'art must have mounted her.  :-X His sex organs were out- shall we say and he was loosing what looked like a substantial amount of blood. Obviously I freaked out and called my vet. The vet told me to bring BOTH dogs in because sometimes when mating is interupted like it was- the female has glands that rupture. So I rushed them both over there and I had to check them in really fast and the rush of to my DRS apt. (I tried to reschedule but they would not let me. Ive been waiting for a month to get this stinking apt and My Dr refuses to refill my perscriptions without me going in...  :-[)

MY Vet, the one I like, was not in.  >:( I had to have this guy I didn't like much. When I came back like two hours later they  kept asking questions about D'arts neutering--were there any special instructions? Did they mention any necessary follow up? Did they mention that anything went wrong?

I was not able to see my doggies during all of this and they were in such a rush I wasnt able to ask if everything was okay. So I was about to start crying there in the waiting room cause I was so anxious...but I thought it would be really lame for me to cry about my doggies penis... :P  I was just afraid he'd done some real damage. The vet told me that the vet I used to get D'art fixed didn't have a record of him...(erg, I wish I'd brought his paper work...I think I shall make an emergency packet of pet info..) So finally the vet said..."They both seem fine" He was not able to look at the internal bits of D'art sex organs though, so I'm still kinda freaked out. The vet said it was probally just normal bleeding from Deogi being in heat...But D'art still isn't really walking right...and there was A LOT of blood. I dunno... ??? kinda scares me... I'm keeping them separate now. The vet said that D'art probally did it to be agressive to Deogi and that she was not receptive--so is that like dog rape? Poor deogi..poor D'artagnon too I guess. i dont like think of my puppy as a rapist.. :-\
