I thought I'd start a new thread to see what other peoples "new faves" were/are, you know, that new favourite pizza topping or new veggie you can't believe you've not loved before now! Who's with me?
Anyhoo, my new fave "thing" is a griddle pan, those pans that create a defined charcoal line across foods! Pan fried courgette - so simple but so good.
My new fave ingredient is, well, its a collection of veggies: antipasti. Why o why have I never had these in my cupboard/fridge. So easy to use by themselves or add to pasta for a quick lunch.
Come on, don't be shy ...

I have found a love for roasted beets,
and fresh turnips... I can't believe I forgot how great turnips taste!
ditto on the love of cilantro. my sis in law hates it but I LOVE IT!!!!
and avacadoes, yum
I can't find carob without barley malt or malt syrup in it, grrrrr. I need to try and find gluten free carob chips, any suggestions.
Oh, and I have found coconut milk yogurt at whole foods, it tasted ok, but wierd at first cuz of the coconut, which for me is an acquired taste. plus it is twice the price of soy yogurt.

Don't know about gluten-free carob chips. But Bob's Red Mill "Toasted Carob Powder" appears to be gluten-free. Ingredients: Toasted Ground Carob. It's delicious in a carob-banana smoothie too.
artichokes are one of my antipastis! Still love my griddle fry pan - griddled baby aubergine (not a fave, I must admit) and zucchini at the weekend to add to w/f pasta and artichoke in the week, yummers

Oh but if you allow those baby aubergines to char just a leeeetle bit, and season with garlic, olive oil, lemon...serve with roast red pepper strips...oh lovely.
Ughh, you guys suck now i want artichokesss. Non have looked good around here, and the canned ones just dont compare to fresh.
I've been eating avocados daily lately, like 2 a day or so. Mmm.
all the new larabar flavors that i haven't tried yet up until now.....soooooo good!! coconut cream pie, cinnamon roll....they're like candy bars to me!! :D
I've gotta say that uncle eddie's vegan cookies are soooo deliciously delicious, the peanut butter chocolate chip ones are the best.
And morningstar ground crumbles work in everything, I'm about to try my luck at vegan sloppy joes.

Uncle Eddie's Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies ... Yes! Love those.
Almond and hazelnut butter....drool....
Jicama. A very juicy apple-like vegetable! DELICIOUS!
Well, I'm normally really into veggie sushi or hibachi veggies, (as in I used to eat these atleast once a week), I haven't touched either of these for a few weeks. Instead Ive been eating cauliflower poppers.
