Good games to play with your dog?

Okay, so it's been raining and my dog and I have been INERT on the couch all afternoon. I've determined to PLAY with him now. So...anyone have ideas of fun things to do with him?
<-- That one. Right there. He doesn't fetch. He does chew sticks.
We just ran around the coffee table ten times. In each direction. ::panting:: now I'm dizzy. Help!
If you have one of those rope chew toys, or an old cotton towel you can tie a couple of knots in, tug of war is always good. He looks like a terrier type, they love it. And from the photo he doesn't look big enough to drag you around the house... ;)
In an American sized house, you could maybe play some ball in a safe area? Dog frisbee is best left outside though...

Oh yea - tug! He loves that, and I can do bicep curls with him hanging on the other end! I just tried a few "sits" and he just kept rolling on his back. Dang it, someone's re-trained my dog with new words! At least he still knows "besitas."
Do you ever play hide and seek with your dog? Hide somewhere and call him to find you. Most dogs love that.

Hi Wendie - you know, although I've had him "find" other things and people, I've never done it with just the two of us....he's tiring of tug 'cause I keep winning, so H&S is next - thanks!
Chester and I like to have photoshoots where I try and kiss him and he runs away, turns away, or in some other ways shows his distaste for my affection....it's just a game though. He really loves me, I think
Fee - I have TONS of pictures of the back of Cody's head!
Anyway, this H&S thing is the bestest ever! He's so dumb that I can hide in the room next to him and he'll walk by 5 or 6 times...but he's persistent, so there's a joyful reunion at the end!
Okay, sun's peeking out, so we'll go for some old fashioned soccer. Thanks for all the suggestions folks!

My dogs LOVE hide and seek....actually....the only part they like is when they "find" me! ;D
