I seek your compassionate advice and baking expertise. I'll be selling my vegan baked goods this weekend for the first time at a monthly art market event in Old Town Pasadena.
Does this bake sale line-up of vegan goodies look good? Am I missing something?
Chocolate Chip Scones
Cranberry Walnut Scones
Cinamon Raisin Scones (diabetic-friendly)
Brownie Bites (gluten-free)
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Raspberry Oatmeal Bars
Pumpkin Muffins
Banana Bread (lowerfat)
I think it looks like you should send me some goodies!
ugh, I agree with vh & sb. They sound amazing. I <3 scones.
Veganhippie-Thanks. I love the VWAV pumpkin muffin recipe.
Secondbase-Duly noted! :) Meant to ask you ... which brownie recipe do you use?
taintedlove908-Me love scones too. (VWAV) Simple and not overly sweet.
underSARAH-Thank you. I'm trying to be sensitive to people's dietary needs and tastebuds.
I really appreciate the feedback and welcome any more. :)
What does VWAV stand for? :-\ I'm not too educated with these vegan terms.

Vegan With a Vengeance - Isa Chandra Moskowitz's first cookbook!

I like the ' Vegan Brownie' recipe on this site. I usually tweek the ingredients a little, add chocolate chips, coconut or a peanut butter swirl into it.
Also, no lemon squares? I freakin' love those things!
Good job including a "classic" recipe like chocolate chip cookies... they are sure win children over!

I love, love, lemon bars too, Base, but I tried a recipe and they didn't firm up well. Still looking for a solid lemon bar recipe.
Thanks, DalVeg. Chocolate chip cookies are my weakness, too. :)
Yeah, I haven't had a vegan one I was too crazy about. Even the time-warp ones from this site didn't set well enough for my liking.
Looks awesome, Saskia! I want raspberry oatmeal bars please.
Ps- Secondbase, peanut butter swirl brownies? Marry me?
taintedlove908-Sorry for not explaining that. Vegan With a Vengeance is a a great cookbook. Isa Chandra Moskowitz came out with another cookbook recently called Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar that looks really good too.
secondbase-the time warp lemon bars from this site were the ones I tried that didn't hold very well. Vegan brownies were good and easy but they didn't produce that crinkly brownie top that I like.
mamaanna-I use the recipe from the Joy of Vegan Baking. They are quite a hit with my family and friends.
