Weekly Giveaway: Marshmallow Ghosts & Ice Cream! animal_g is the winner!

Now, breakfast is great and all but what about dessert!? No great meal is complete without a fabulous dessert. Truth. Whether you're topping off a pasta feast with some tiramisu, or digging into a cupcake right after a smoothie, you can't go wrong. My current favorite dessert of the season? Sweet and Sarah's mashmallow ghosts (http://www.sweetandsara.com/products.php). They are so adorably spooky! We're giving away two of those sold-out ghoulish treats, plus a carton of Turtle Mountain's So Delicious vegan ice cream (http://www.turtlemountain.com/) to enjoy them with. How terrifingly tasty can you get? I kill me.

For your chance to win these two scary goodies, let me know what your go-to breakfast is!

Giveaway ends on Tuesday, October 19th at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random, must live in USA to win!

Good luck!

According to the VegWeb newsletter, the question is supposed to be "what is your favorite breakfast food?".  Hopefully this gets changed...

Nothing beats a big breakfast brunch with all the trimmings! Waffles, tofu scramble, tempha bacon, OJ and do not forget the espresso!

But...since I never get to eat like that..my go to breaky is a blueberry, banana, spinach, and chia seed smoothie.

Breakfast soup (boup) is a standard in our house.......onion, broccoli, carrot, celery, kale, miso and whatever is in the garden. Weekends it's pancakes or seitan-sausage gravey and bisquits.

My go-to breakfast lately has been peanut butter panda puffs cereal, sprouted buckwheat, hemp seed, and vanilla soy yogurt all mixed together. It's delicious and healthy! Unless I'm late for class...then I just grab an apple and run out the door.

A bunch of steamed or roasted veggies with sauteed tofu drizzled with malt vinegar. And coffee of course. A little weird sounding, but so good.

Either steel cut oats mixed with a little canned pumpkin and cinnamon (I have a serious pumpkin addiction year round!) or some plain soy yogurt with a little agave and fresh fruit mixed in!  :)>>>

On busy days, I love having oatmeal with apple slices, cinnamon and a touch of maple syrup.
On weekends I'll have whole wheat pancakes with sliced bananas or blueberries with maple syrup.
(Obviously I'm obsessed with maple syrup....yum).
