What do you like over rice?

Now, I love me some rice. It's pathological. I could eat rice at nearly every meal, and certainly every day. Plain with a little butter or olive oil and Herbamare when I'm feeling unloved. I just read in "Geisha" about how a midnight snack for many of them is green tea over leftover rice. Haven't tried that yet, but I will put just about anything with the magic seed of happiness.
I love, love, love lentils of any kind over rice. Particularly dhal.
Veggies cooked in tomato sauce and spooned over.
Fried onions and zuchinni slices.
So what do you put over rice? I'm looking for new ideas.
I'll just say your mom instead. ;)
But my mum isn't veg*n! ;D
Gosh, what DOESN'T go with rice? ::) I love it with almost any vegetable, beans, lentils (dahl is a special treat, but I don't make it often because my dad hates curry with a passion), tomato sauce, and on and on...
I love making rice pudding, although I haven't really experimented with vegan versions yet. Once fall sets in I'll start craving it again and give it a whirl. I also like to use rice and veggies for spring roll filling.

I have to agree with you!!
Try "Arroz con Leche de Soja" from the Pudding Section...for some reason IE won't let me copy and paste the link. It's cooked on the stove, not baked, and no egg needed as "binder." You can add raisins etc if you like them. Let me know what you think.
tamari, raw sunflower kernels, steamed broccoli and cauliflower. This-->http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=32276.msg387105#msg387105 . Unbeef stew. Tofu scrambled with ponzu, garlic and ginger. roasted roots with olive oil and herb dressing. spicy thai-style peanut butter sauce. Scuse please, must go start up rice cooker now!
