What cupcakes should I make?

I volunteered to make cupcakes for Smooch's very irish family Saitn Patrick's Day Party this Sunday. I have VCTOTW & lots of time to bake this weekend- which ones should I make? I think Chocolate stout sounds good & then maybe some other kind I can dye greenish, like coconut lime? Any other ideas? Or maybe some kind of chocolate mint & I don't know what other kind

I think the minty chocolate ones would be nice for a st paddy's day celebration...the green icing is just so pretty.

chocolate and mint is always good or! you could make pumpkin or sweet potato cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and then do some green sprinkles or colored sugar on top.. then you have the irish-potato thing going and the colors of the flag, orange-white-green!

I think those are in the fancy section!

I would not worry about dying things green overly much.  I think too much green makes everything seem very "Hallmark" inspired.    Just make cupcakes you think will go nicely after the main dishes are eaten.
Are they making colcannon?  I think after that awesome potato/cabbage treat a lovely light cupcake of vanilla would be perfect.
Lots of beer? The chocolate stout is a great idea so do that!
Kids going to be around?  Make the banana cupcakes, elvis style!
It going to be a late night? Make mocha cupcakes with the hazelnut filling!
