Vegan Frittata

Does anyone have a recipe for frittata that doesn't have nooch in it? Every recipe I find for vegan frittata contains nooch. Could I just leave it out or is it a necessary ingredient?

It's usually just for flavor, but if there is a larger amount, you might need to add some flour (or something similar, depending on recipe).

I usually just see about 4tbsp to .5c, I don't think I've seen anymore. Thanks, AC.

Sure. If it seems too wet, add a bit of flour or breadcrumbs.

I've looked and never found chickpea flour in a store before but my grocery store does sell dried chickpeas. Do you know if I could make chickpea flour by grinding the dried chickpeas?

Try googling International Markets around your area. The only place i've been able to find chickpea flour is in a Hispanic market that has a huge International foods section. It's cheaper too, if you buy it there, instead of the Bob's Red Mill brand Garbanzo flour that's more available. "It is also called chana flour, chana dal flour, gram flour, dal flour, gram dal flour, pea flour and besan flour." http://www.kurma.net/faq/Ask46.html
