Vegan Challenge! Can someone help me find a vegan Kraft mac n' cheese recipe?

Mac n cheese, as a vegan and when I was an omni, is still hands-down my favorite thing to eat! And as a child, my favorite treat was the yummy neon yellow stuff in the blue box. I admit it, my favorite mac n cheese is still the Kraft version!
Now I have tried every vegan version out there (New Farm, Veg News, Fat Free Vegan, and Veg web, etc), but have not yet found ANY recipe to replicate the texture and taste of the blue box.
I purchased powdered soy milk -- but what next? Any ideas out there in vegan land??? Any takers?
Cook some pasta noodles and mix in Melty Cheese... sooooo delicious :) this tastes good only when you use soy milk... i tried using almond milk and it was nasty for some reason
Also Road's Inn vegan mac & cheese (comes in a box like Kraft mac & cheese) is really delicious :)
I have tried many, many, and have yet to find something similar. I've tried 1-2 with powdered soymilk, and was disappointed. Here is one of them that you can try: http://myveggiekitchen.blogspot.com/2009/06/crafty-macaroni-and-cheese.html
I haven't tried the melty cheese that amy suggested. Did you mean Road's End? Unfortunately, I have disliked all of those as well. Everyone is different!

Oops yes Roads End! Thanx <3
what do you think about adding veganaise to one of these cheezy sauces? has anyone tried that -- is it closer to kraft flavor?
i've totally never tried this, but maybe you could melt daiya cheeder onto noodles? i hear the daiya has a weirdly creamy texture when melted...
also the tofutti slices have always tasted kind of krafty to me, not sure how well those melt, though.

tofutti slices melt really well but they taste nasty if they aren't in a sandwich or something.
Here is some pictures of the Roads End mac & cheese

Soooo yummy :)
I don't think Road's End is anything like Kraft's though. They both come in a box... that's about it.
Really? My bf liked it too and he is addicted to real cheese

You two are crazy. ;)
The mac-n-cheese-in-a-box was pretty much the only way I ate it. The best recipe I've tried is that "best vegan mac n cheese in the entire world seriously" one (or something like that), except it's a little garlicky. I've tried several road's end (they're ok, but there's never enough sauce), but I haven't tried daiya or adding vegenaise to a powdered mix. That would be interesting.

Very true... ya you probably shouldn't take my word for it... seriously i'm a lunatic

I know if I don't add the extra 2 tablespoons of "butter" it isn't as good and ya there wouldn't be enough sauce it kinda clumps up
bukuchic: I made cheeze sauce with veganaise yesterday! It was really tasty!!!
I heated it on the lowest heat, and added the same ingredients that many nooch sauces use (nutritional yeast, mustard, a tiny bit of cumin and paprika) I was afraid heating the veganaise would do something weird to it, which is why I kept the heat so low. But it turned out really well - stuck to the noodles well, tasted good, had a good texture. Still not like kraft mac n cheese sauce, but I thought it was delicious :) now i want to make more!
PS: I really like Road's End mac n chreese, too, but it's basically nooch sauce in powdered form, so you could just make it yourself.
i stumbled on this recipe a couple months ago but have yet to try it. he claims it's like kraft...
