We're having a cookie raffle at work. I'd like to do it--because I feel the vegans have to represent--but my cookies aren't the best. That's my husband's department! What are your favorite omni-sucessful cookie recipes?
the sugar cookies called granny B's(I think thats the name) are great, and easy!
lemon tea cookies and kick ass molasses cookies, both from here.
yum.

Those are exactly the ones I was gonna say! We must be connected, Cakes.
The peanut butter cookies from Have cake will travel: http://havecakewilltravel.com/2007/09/15/peanut-butter-cookies/ Amazing!

These have gotten rave reviews from many people to whom I've served them:

I use half white and half brown sugar.
I've had great success with these two recipes:
The Lemon Zingers, Recommended from another VegWebber on an earlier post.

Thumbprint Cookies Easy, pretty, tasty with some healthy ingredients.

Several recipes from this Vegan Sweets Extravaganza blog look delicious too.

I second the lemon zinger recipe. They are AWESOME and very soft.
Also, these molasses cookies are my favorite: http://www.recipezaar.com/Healthy-Soft-Molasses-Cookies-276512 - they get really flat, with crunchy edges, and soft middles. Yum!
Definitely the chocolate chip cookies from the ppk blog. These are the bomb! I couldn't believe a cookie recipe made with oil could be so good!!!!!! Gotta try this definitely! http://theppk.com/blog/2008/11/10/chocolate-chip-cookies/

the thumbprints are win. i have eaten them :)
I buy mine from The Chicago Diner. Rather, The Chicago Diner via Whole Foods.
I'm lazy. BUT I have made the scones on here and I like them more than cookies. But it's been so long I've forgotten which ones. Oh and I think I made peanut butter ones on here with raw almond butter once.
I'm no help. It's been too long and now I'm a lazy vegan.

Thank you, ponycakes. Your words make me smile. :)
I just like trying new cookie recipes, so I've also appreciated all the suggestions!
Thanks, dudes. They all sound yummy. The lemon ones seem like they might be good for me...
The chocolate mint melties from Dreena Burton's Eat Drink and Be Vegan / Dessert Magazine's vegan issues are to die for. Seriously amazing and a hit with omnis too.
vwav sparkled ginger cookies! omg, ive made these 3 times in the past week. i love them and so does everyone else that has tried them!

I'm about to make these (subbing cornstarch for the tapioca flour)!
eta: they taste really good..but came out really crinkly on the tops...not my favorite
eta2: well, apparently they are P's favorites! He even commented on their appearance, and said they looked like "cookbook picture cookies." Hm.
I am madly in love with all types of cookies.
Cookies .....cookies....cookies.

Yeah, these are our new favorites! I've made them with cornstarch and with tapioca flour..and they are definitely better with the tapioca flour. I liked 2 inch ones better than 3 inch. :)
