Anyone interested in a cooking challenge?

I enjoyed the cookbook challenges, and the blog challenges, and ingredient challenges, etc. Since the crazy holidays are over anyone wanna do another? Suggestions? Ideas?
I'd be interested, but don't know how much cooking I will do in the next week or so. I'd be up for a cooking or blog, unless someone has a new idea!
Maybe we can find some new blogs in the next week or so, and start then?
ETA: ooh, maybe we could do recipes from vegetarian times and veg news? They both have lots of recipes online.

Yeah, sure. We can do that! It will definitely be more 'challenging' for me because I'm not used to doing online/blog recipes. I usually do cookbook or made up. I'd be interested in trying that. :)
This sounds like fun...I'm totally up for it.
I'm interested!
yes definitely. I was also thinking about a veg of the month type thing again. I enjoyed the couple that I took part in before.
How about one and then the other? What do we think? Maybe the vt and vn one starting next Fri.? for a couple weeks, and then a veg of the week after that?
What is veg of the week?
Would we be choosing any recipe on vt and vn?
NMP - good idea, I'm in.
Minke (totally typed Monke first! ha!) - veg of the week is where a vegetable is chosen and then we all try cooking with it for that week, as many times as possible/you want to. It's a good way of trying new veggies or new ways of cooking veggies.
Doing veg of the month made me realise how much I love love love kale and how amazing roasted brussel sprouts are.
Well, I'm up for it! When do you want to start?

Are all the VN recipes just within the food section?
Here's the section on VT for vegan recipes: http://www.vegetariantimes.com/recipes/search_recipes/?keywords=&vegan=on
thanks for that link AC....I don't really know VT or VN that well, so didn't have a clue where to look for recipes.
I'm gonna be busy busy cooking because I definitely want to take part in this, plus I have 2 new cook books that I can't wait to start using, plus there's still recipes in my old cook books I want to try!! Yay!
I am interested. :) In the past few months I have been enjoying cooking and this will help e make new dishes.
For those interested, here are some of the past cooking challenge threads, to get the idea:
Ingredient challenge
Blog cooking challenge
Cookbook challenge
On VN I did have a harder time finding the recipes, but I searched in the food section and found some, and if you get their email newsletter, they send recipes. Not all the VT ones are vegan, but you can filter it that way. I best be looking myself.
I'd be interested for sure. I want to do more cooking and this would bring me some more motivation to avoid just using the microwave..
I might join in. I actually subscribe to both of those magazines in print. Got a real good deal on VT...$10 for a year. I challenge myself to make at least one recipe from each issue. (I recently posted a VT recipe in the "Other cookbooks not listed...thread).
However, since I got eight....yes eight...new cookbooks for Xmas I might be distracted, but I'll be sure to read the challenges.

Yeah, the link I posted for VT is after clicking "vegan" in the recipe search. I get both newsletters also.
