The only ingredients I used were: 1/2 black beans, 1/2 refried beans (so I didn't have to mash 'em lol), bread crumbs, lentils and spices (taco seasoning).
These were so good!! I don't want boxed veggie burgers anymore. I doubled the recipe and the only spices I used were onion powder, garlic powder, taco seasoning and some salt.
Okay, I didn't use soy sauce because it aggravates my endometriosis, didn't use steak seasoning because I didn't have it, and I didn't have garlic powder so I just used taco season
Hallelujah! This is deeeeelicious! Who knew something so fabulous could come out of so few ingredients?! I didn't have parsley but it was amazing anyways.
I made this for lunch today. I was lazy and didn't put anything in the blender, just kept the veggies whole. Instead of bouillon cubes I used 4 cups of veggie broth.
I tried to make the roux but I did it wrong and decided to use the same amount of cornstarch mixed with cold water to thicken it. It actually worked pretty well.
