This is a pretty sweet cereal. I made it for a brunch, so the sweetness was fine. If I made it for first thing in the morning, I'd probably cut out some (but not all) of the sugar.&nb
I was hoping to like this more. I used Granny Smith apples, which were still quite tart after the pie baked. My mouth is filled with tartness and coated with sweet. Meh.
Update: It was still mildly warm when I tried it the first time. I tried it again once it had cooled fully and it was good. This is definitely a pie to make a day ahead.
