SO HOW'D IT GO?
This was alright. Straight up vinegar works better though. I've got black caked on mould from before we moved here, I'm sure I will have to try something else :(
I soaked it in this and scrubbed with a scoured too :(
Thank you Humboldt_honey. I know what I'm looking for now :)
"Castile" means the soap made exclusively from vegetable oil. If you found any liquid vegetable-based soap, it should work.
I don't live in the US, NZ is my place of residence. Are there any special qualities about Castile soap? Is it simply a pure soap? I'm just wondering if any liquid soap would be suitable.
Adiago, Castile soap comes in bar form and liquid. I'm pretty sure this recipe is asking for 1/4 cup liquid castile soap? to make it tea tree castile soap you mix tea tree essential oil into the 1/4 cup castile soap. It's great stuff and pretty cheap you can find it at on line I get mine at Mountain Rose Herbs.
Great recipe by the way.
Can someone tell me what form the tea tree castile soap is in, solid soap block, liquid, gel? Any information would be great, this recipe sounds well worth trying.
This has become my go-to cleaning spray. Our kitchen cabinet fronts are white PVC and are easily marked and stained with drips, coffee spills or fingermarks. Spray this on, leave to stand for a minute or two and, if needed, scrub gently with a green scrubbing pad. Comes up a treat!
I am totally looking forward to trying this out as I am allergic to chemical cleaners and I have yet to find a good bathroom/shower cleaner.
Really?! Have to try that one soon!
Thanks in advance!
This stuff rocks! To remove stains and dark patches from grout, spray on, scrub a bit and leave it to sit for awhile. Then scrub again and rinse. Gone!
