I really want to make some cereal bars (like rice crispy treats or similar...can use corn flakes or whatever instead of puffed rice), but just about all the recipes on vw have corn syrup.  I can get corn syrup here, but it's like $8 for a small bottle (like 8-10oz), and I don't want to spend that much.  I also don't think I can get agave or brown rice syrup, or vegan marshmallows.  So...does anyone have a recipe that doesn't use those ingredients, or is there something I could easily sub?

I'm fine with flavored treats (PB, chocolate, etc), if that helps.
