I have a hair appt at 7pm, so that really messes up my party schedule....but my friend is having a post St. Patty's Day party on the 20th, so I'll make up for it then.

I have red hair too! I totally understood your anecdote about getting pinched on St. Paddy's Day, which is why I will probably be in hiding.

hey hanashi, I'll be celebrating my birthday on the 16th too!!! On St. Patrick's Day I'll be making Corned Seitan and Cabbage, Colcannon, Irish Soda Bread, and Irish Potato Candies. Whoever wants to come over and have some can, if not...more for me :)
I have school that day...all day...morning, noon, and night. Lame.

After work, I will prepare a vegan Irish supper for my omni family and hope they enjoy it.
oh gosh, I barely know my plans for the next day, nevermind a week from now. I guess I could try to cook some Irish food for dinner. I've never done that before. It'll be a strange switch from Boston, where everyone celebrate's St. Patty's, to Berlin, where I have no idea if anyone celebrates it.
I will be eating vegan pizza celebrating my birthday! And hopefully vegan doughnuts also!
Well, I do work and have bio lab that day. But I have my outfit planned already, and already have my green nails and am STOKED.
I'll drink green tea in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Otherwise, it's just a regular Wednesday!

I'll be studying for a mental health test, but I still plan on pinching the kiddos I babysit if I don't see any green!
I live in a float home in Victoria BC and we are having an environmental committee meeting for our residents.

I don't think we have any plans. I've never really "celebrated" St. Patrick's day (I celebrate my own Patrick!), but one time I listened to an Irish band at an outdoor thing.
Working until God knows when and then hopefully going to the local pub for a Guiness with my bestie . I suppose I should do some laundry ASAP so I have a green shirt. No pinching for me darnit!
To avoid being pinched by countless elementary-schoolers, I will wear green to work that day. Then I have a rehearsal in the evening. Oh, the exciting life of an elementary school teacher...
No special plans... St. Patty's Day is usually just a normal day for me. Honestly, if it weren't for VegWeb I probably wouldn't have known it was coming up until the day itself! Thanks WML... now maybe I'll remember to wear green so I don't get pinched! :P

My plans for st patty's day include dressing in green, making cookies with green icing, making some Irish Nachos (recipe found in the newsletter this week -- they look so good!) and potentially finding some green beer?
