Well yeah, I was guessing that would be assumed but wanted at least to have the first question answered and not create reluctance by having people feel obligated to answer the more time consuming 2nd question.
  I find it kind of cute that you chose to rub it in that the first question was optional since it has received only one real - or perhaps joking answer . I'm fine with it, and similar to Rush mocking something, it often brings more attention to the issue.
  I find it interesting that after so many people want to get rid of Rush that it seems people assume he would be replaced by someone - or  something -  better. Furthermore, I could state my choice, and others could state their choices, but does anyone believe that their choice could be as strategic as Rush when getting animal rights and environmental issues presented to the American  public? How else to get past Rush's, or the host of your choice's, advertizers and supporters than moocking/degrading that which may be more or less meaningless or threatening  to 80% of your audience, and perhaps as much as 90% of your financial supporters? Who else has brought so much attention to good causes? 
  And for those of you who would like to have your own talk shows, I'd probably listen and support you, but how would you get your veg*n, animal righs, environmental, etc message across w/o offending or boring perhaps as much as 80% of your audience? Where would you receive financial support for such a threatening platform?
    Perhaps there are some people here on Vegweb who became veg*n after hearing a report by Rush?
