Very cool... One thing I've noticed over the last couple years: more people (meat-centric omnis included) know that veggie eating is healthy! In this article, responses seem to indicate that folks are eating veg for health reasons almost as often as for ethics reasons...
Whatever the reason, we'll take it! It makes me happy to see this rising awareness among carnies... At my summer job, where only 1 person besides me even has veggie friends/ family members (she's from India; everyone else from bible-belt/ bacon-belt south), what I hear most is NOT 'wow, you don't eat meat? that's weird!' -- instead, it's 'wow, you eat healthy' or 'wish I could stick to something like that'... I think that's a good sign!
