Josh Hooten of Herbivore magazine & clothing is doing a fundraising bike ride from portland to farm sanctuary.. all the proceeds are going to the sanctuary and he's trying to raise $10,000.. he's pretty close - already over $8,000

Wow, really interesting.
The virtual experience doesn't capture how peaceful the sanctuary is, though. The animals there have a completely different demeanor than animals you would see anywhere else. They are so relaxed and calm. It is a very peaceful place. It's really incredible.
The people who work there could have been nicer to the human visitors, though. Oh well!
