I just saw this. I like that message. There are about 400,000 dairy cows in the Chino Basin in SoCal. We could have a naming frenzy.

Ugh, double-edged sword. I mean, I want cows to be treated as nicely as possible if they are going to be raped and slaughtered (how's that for low standards), but I could see some asshat using this as justification for exploiting them further (and more intensely) for their milk.

My post was sarcasm, btw. There's nothing remotely nice about how the cows are treated in Chino. I don't believe that there's a density regulation for CAFOs, so as residential housing encroaches on dairy land, the same number of cows are squeezed into an increasing small space. It's sad, sad, sad.
