Woah. I wouldn't have guessed that Rachel Ray would even link to something as un-meaty and un-cheesy as Moby's fridge. Her show is all meat, all cheese, all the time. At least, that's how it seems when I've tuned in.
She seems really open to learning about his veganism, though. I'm glad to see it. And I'll try not to have so many assumptions in the future. :)
My DH is a Rachel fan. He was watching her show on the food network when I got home from work yesterday. He was all excited because the dishes she was cooking were lacto-vegetarian. She made a pasta with veggies (one of which was asparagus) and something else that I don't remember. All you'd have to do (I think) to veganize them would be to leave off the cheese she coated the top with! I've have to check the food network site for her recipes. I haven't watched her talk show, it comes on while I'm at work.
I was kind of surprised to find out she has a Veggie meals cookbook- but then again she has made a TON of cookbooks in the short time she's been known. I guess anything with her name on it sells.... Is she going to be the new Oprah when O retires in 5 years?! Lol... She's building a freakin' empire
(like Oprah)- magazine, show, etc.... I have to admit Rachael Ray kind of annoys me.. and I was truly surprised to see she featured Moby on her site. I never watch her show because her voice is so harsh and raspy....maybe she smokes?

I used to read the alt.gossip.something newsgroup and I remember a discussion of Rachel Rey, her weight and smoking. One poster who claimed to have personal knowledge of it claims she smokes excessively to keep her weight down so she can eat whatever she wants. I don't know if there's any truth in it but I have a suspicion that it is. ( I hope our anorexics don't pick up on that! Don't do it.)
