My dad loves hummus, and so for Father's Day, he's gonna get about a gallon of it. I'm not messing around, I go big or go home. My family is going out to eat for father's day so I'll probably end up eating a salad depending on how vegan-friendly the restaurant we end up at is.
going to the new soon to be in-laws house, making a vegan stirfry, and i am doing an awesome asian themed napa cabbage salad. not sure what else will be there but at least i know i wont go hungry.
I didn't see my dad today, but he visited last weekend... as part of dinner I made him the everyday chickpea quinoa salad from AFR, which convinced him that quinoa is good.
My dad's been gone 25 years...so like lubi...it's just another day.
Well Since Father's Day has passed I can post what we "did" for Father's Day.
My Father (a vegetarian newbie, working on full vegan transfer...) wanted to got out to dine. Took him to Whole Foods for some Vegan pizza! Bought him a single serve blender so he can start with some smoothies and sent him some Vegweb recipes to try! :)
