Vegan Vodka Gummy Bears

So I came across an amazing discovery today:

Has anyone tried making these before? Gummy bears aren't vegan but theres always swedish fish or another similar product. I was thinking about trying it... What do you think!
i think you should try it! maybe ill try it with some swedish fish, i have some mediocre vodka that would probably be put to good use in this..
OOOOOOooooooo, I must try these! You can get vegan gummy bears but it also says that you can use other types of gummies too so I think swedish fish would be fine.
I wonder if sour patch kids would work?!
How big did they get?

Oh I tried this months and months ago, I never came back to the thread to say how it went.
They swelled up but they were really sticky and gross and you couldn't hold them with your hand you had to use a cup or spoon. And there was a lot of left over, gooey, gross, vodka. It isn't just the vegan gummy bears that did that though; I have since seen regular gummy bears go through this same process and they weren't any better. Its just a bad idea in general :p I got some vegan jello mix and I will try that eventually to make jello shots and I am sure that will turn out much better!
I'm sad it didn't work out for you guys, because that sounds like an awesome idea.
