vegan hot pockets

I want to try a vegan hot pocket-style thing.  The pizza kind.  Can someone recommend the best dough to use?  I was thinking of the dough from those cabbage rolls everyone seems to love, but I've never made it before so I wanted some advice first.  What drew me to that dough was how easy it looked.  I hate sitting around forever waiting for dough to rise, and hate kneading it and rolling it out even more.

When I make them for my husb I just buy frozen bread dough, whole wheat kind, at the grocery.  Just defrost, roll out and stuff!!  He likes them with meat and cheese!!!  I like them with a pie crust and stuffed with my spinach artichoke dip.

I was thinking of this yesterday! I am going to try using Pretty in Punk's Pigs are safe in the barn cornmeal dough recipe. I'll let you know how it works!

If you wanted to be super lazy, maybe you could use one of those Pillsbury pizza doughs. I believe they are accidentally vegan. It would be like a little calzone. Just throw some sauce and fake mozzarella inside, maybe some vegan sausage. Could be pretty good?

Not much help here. I think these would be awesome with spinach dip inside...mmmm. I might try this sometime, too. I would just use the pizza dough like BP said. There is one on here that doesn't have to be kneaded, or rise and whatnot.

Hold on....

Here it is! Easy and Quick Pizza Crust

From the reviews it seems you don't even need to add the yeast to the dough.

Has anybody tried puff pastry to make hot pockets with?  I've been thinking of trying it for a while, but I've been too lazy to actually do it.  :P
