Storing Agave Nectar

It's labeled "raw" but doesn't say to refridgerate after opening. I'm inclined to refrigerate, but wondering if that will thicken it too much or if it's necessary.
I'm new to agave and found it quite good. Better than honey.
Thanks.
I never refridgerate mine and it seems fine. I guess it depends on how fast you use it. I put a little in my oatmeal every day
I use Agave nectar every morning in my coffee.. and I've never once put it in the fridge. It sits next to the coffee machine in the kitchen, even after I opened it.
I've never had any issues with it going bad or anything.
I do store my agave, along with my maple syrup, in the refrigerator--no problems with it thickening too much.
i always just keep mine in the pantry.. in a few days the worlds 3rd largest whole foods is opening up near me and i'll be able to buy agave nectar in bulk! i can't wait to see their bulk section!!
I keep it on the counter. I wouldn't store it in the pantry because I'd worry about ants or something. I'm weird like that ::)
I just bought my first container of agave nectar...its in this little squeeze bottle...wow, its so sweet and flavorful! I have mine in the cupboard...seems ok..then again, I've only had it for 2 days!! lol
Thanks for the input guys! I probably won't be using it much, just bought it for a couple of recipes, so it will be nice to have on hand. I'm going to have to try it in oatmeal that's a great idea.

in chicago - they also have molasses & maple syrup. i saw it yesterday and they have them in big metal canisters with a tap and you use their plastic bottles to dispense it into. i think it was like 2.69 a lb for the agave and 8.99 for the maple syrup.. the molasses was pretty cheap i think though.
