Seaweed question

I bought some dried wakame seaweed to include in a sushi bowl recipe I want to make, and I was surprised when looking at the nutritional information to see that a serving only had 1% of the daily iron requirement. I thought sea vegetables were full of iron? I'm still going to eat it of course, I'm just wondering what's up.
Oh and any ideas for using seaweed in other recipes would be greatly appreciated!
sea vegetables are full of iodine :) iodine is a very beneficial mineral in helping to regulate thyroid function.
wakame is really good for boiling with other things like beans or rice to add flavor and boost mineral content....then you can eat the boiled sea vegetable and use it in a cooked pressed or raw vegetable salad, eat alone like jerky or save to use in another boiling dish.... it's a very nutrient-dense food and really delicious!
try dulse, it is SO yummy. I add it to my daily salads.
1/3 cup is
19% iron
Vitamin B 12 23%
Vitamin B 6 42%
