Pizza toppings

I have a question. I like to put veggies on my pizza but I don't really like them to be crunchy. When you order a pizza they are always perfect. Are you supposed to cook the veggies before putting on the pizza to bake, or do you just slice them super thin?
I always pre-cook things like brocolli and potato, but just slice things like zucchini and carrots thin, or grated, or whatever.

Thank you! I was wanting to put on some various colored peppers (pizza is also being eaten by a 13 month old, for him, more colorful the better), olives, but I didn't think about broccoli until you mentioned it, probably that too.
peppers as in capsicum? I wouldn't normally cook those first, just cut into strips.
I guess it all depends on how long you bake your pizza for too, I always use home made bases and they can take a little longer to cook/crisp up than bought ones.
mmmmm it's only 9:30am but now I'm craving a loaded vegetable pizza : /

Oh man no, not good for a 13 month old!!! No, like bell peppers, yellow, red, and orange bell peppers.
I think what I might do is steam the peppers and the broccoli before putting them on the pizza.

If you cut them small enough, they should cook.
Standard veggies I usually put on pizza are: onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, and olives. Sometimes I add carrots, corn, broccoli, potatoes, cabbage, kale, spinach, pineapple, etc.
It also depends on how... adventurous you want to get. I absolutely LOVE pesto pizzas, with onions mushrooms, kalamata olives, sundried tomatoes and artichoke hearts. I also really like making barbecue sauce pizzas, which are the same as any other pizza I make except I use barbeque sauce... but you have to be careful, some bbq sauces aren't vegan because they have Worcestershire sauce. The pesto one may not be great if yuo're 13 month old isn't adventurous, but I'll bet he likes a BBQ one.

is what I call capsicum, so yeah, I think that's what you're talking about.

Okay, learn something new everyday. Here is where I got confused:
"Capsicum contains capsaicin", I was thinking capsaicin, not capsicum meaning the ingredient in hot peppers that make them hot (example: habaneros). I didn't know bell peppers were called capsicum. But that is kind of confusing so I may continue to call them "bell" peppers.
