Must make tofu fritters!

Hi all,
I've been lurking here a while, so this is my first post. I've been in Mass. a week and found this great Asian restaurant. They make these amazing tofu fritters. However, after ordering them twice, I found out they make their tempura using eggs and milk. Arghh!, I didn't know there was nonvegan tempura. My question is does anyone know how to make these delicious little tofu balls?

If it's the tempura you're wanting, they have a vegan tempura mix at my regular grocery store in the asian section. I'm not sure what else is in them....
