Does anybody know of any luncheon meat alternatives (preferably vegan and available in Canada)?
Thanks,
Cheers.

Yves is known for their deli slices. They have a good variety - everything from turkey to pepperoni. They are always introducing new products, too. In the winter they added roast beef and pastrami to their selection. Pretty nifty what they can do with tastes these days, huh? Being vegan has never been easier. ;) Who knows what else they'll try next?!
Here's the link for yves deli slices I forgot to post:

I like Tofurky turkey slices. Also the Smart Choice bologna and turkey are good :)
How about some mock tuna salad?
Mash up some garbanzo beans & add tuna salad seasonings to taste. I use Vegenaise, shredded carrots, diced celery. For savory mock tuna, I season with dill; for a sweeter version I use pickle relish.
Tasty & not as processed as the faux meat stuff. That said, Turtle Island tofurky slices are great! I also like Yves baloney. Tastes just like the stuff I ate as a kid.
We're LOveg, so we have investigated our deli... they make a very tasty egg salad on rye with thinly sliced onions and cabbage on it-- I've been thinking that a tofu "egg" salad would be nice that way!
