I bought a jar of chili sauce (a pic can be seen here: http://www.saffola.com/chili04.jpg) quite a while ago for some recipe and forgot what recipe I bought it for :(
Does anyone have any ideas of how to use this stuff? Or a tasty recipe that includes it?
You can mix chili sauce with grape jelly and simmer veggie meatballs in this for those little cocktail meatballs.
hmmm that sounds delicious! store bought meatballs or do you make your own? if so what recipe?
I always use Trader Joe's Meatless Meatballs (frozen dept). I have heard good things about Vegandad's recipes: http://vegandad.blogspot.com/search?q=meatballs. He has several variations. I'd probably try the Italian one for this.
cool thanks for the tips!
anyone else? other ideas?
I have a jar of chili sauce just sitting there too...good idea for a post :)
i'm def gonna try the meatballs but i want more ideas :(

this one is super easy
I don't like salad, but I like salad ingredients, so I make spring rolls and dot the guts with hot sauce or chili sauce before I roll 'em up.
I love using the word 'guts' to describe anything food related. Well done.
I wonder if it's anything like Sriracha or Sambal chili sauce.
I put sambal in just about everything. But most commonly chili and stir fry. So, maybe you'll wanna try that out.
