help me save my bland leftovers

okay so i made some... stuff for lunch. It was VERY BLAND! despite having put in seasonings and such. I'm at a loss as to how to perk up the leftovers.
The dish has:
Fresh tomatoes
Eggplant
Black Beans
Barley
Lime juice
lime zest
Garlic
Onion
1/2 a serrano pepper
chili powder
Italian seasoning
salt
i tried adding sriracha, nooch, and salsa to the portion I had for lunch, but it still tasted weird- like i was eating spoonfuls of salsa and sriracha
Any Ideas as to what I can do with this stuff?
my friend made a casserole with alot of that stuff in it and it had polenta also. it was very good, also had some type of "cheese"
Hm. That's odd, particularly since it does have seasonings! But maybe they will taste better after the dish has stood for a few hrs in the fridge. That often happens.

try adding:
garlic,
balsamic vinegar
olvie oil....
In other words, a vinaigrette

I do try to be as positive as poss, always. I grew up surrounded by anger and negativity, and it just doesn't help anytime, anything, anywhere. I can't stand people who are only happy when they're miserable! :-D
