Sorry , but yes I am a Liberated Neanderthal. I made fire tonight and cooked on the grill....and it was good.... Ok so I'm still learning, I resorted to Boca Burgers (Vegan) threw a little spice on them and went to town. I love the grill it adds flavors that you just can't get from the cook top, plus it's to damn hot to cook in the house.
I was curious to know if anyone else here lately has become the God of Fire and cooked out, and what was the charring result?
grilled pineapple!!! so good!
Veggie kabobs! My favorite :)
My grandfather built a special kabob machine that was basically an old charcoal grill fitted with a bicycle chain on the front that was motorized to move around like it would on a bike. He found (made?) special skewers that had spokes that could fit into the bicycle chain, so that when the motor was on and the bicycle chain moved the kabobs turned, like a rotisserie. Perfect every time!
I also love BBQed corn on the cob, and lots of grilled veggies (peppers, mushrooms, etc.)
My friends make grilled pizzas!
