Favorite cheezy cracker?

I've been thinking about making some for a long time, and finally made a recipe. It was this one: http://havecakewilltravel.com/2007/08/12/cheezy-quackers/ (just flour, nut. yeast, EB, s and p, soymilk..). They're ok, but I was expecting...more? P likes them. I added a dash of cayenne. I'm really not very good at rolling out things, because some got more done than others. The more done ones had a strange flavor. ...kind of ...wasabi-ish?
Do you make a different recipe?
I know Cali makes them all the time! Cali?
I've been meaning to make these (probably will tonight for tomorrow's first meeting of the veg club Sean and I started 8) ).

Hm. Maybe I'll make them now and then post a review.

I tried these awhile back. I remember that they were tasty, but not worth all the work involved. Especially since the recipe didn't make all that many considering how fast things like crackers go in my house (this is why I never buy them). I didn't even use a cookie cutter - just rolled out and cut into squares with a pizza cutter. Still a lot of work.
Eco Planet makes a really yummy faux cheddar cracker!
K. The Shmooed Food ones need a little more salt and also some more..something. Onion powder or nooch maybe. The texture is good though. They'd be yummy with a topping.
Yeah, I've had my eye on those shmooed ones for a while, too.
Yes! Cali!
I made the ones you linked too but mine weren't crunchy AT ALL. Good, but not crunchy. Help!

Mine were crunchy! Hmmmm. How thin were they? Were they small? I just rolled mine out like 1/4 inch, and made 1 inch squares. I did have a few thing end pieces, and they burned..and got extra crispy. 350 for like 20 minutes?
The scmooed food ones are good, but I added wayy more nootch to them....I remeber that they made quite a bit, but they were time consumming. They did taste similar to "goldfish" crackers.
i made the schmooedfood ones, but i was lazy and impatient and didnt flatten them enough. they were still good though.
Maybe I didn't bake mine long enough. They were even less than 1/4 inch thick and like one inch across. Oh well!
I love the Eco Planet crackers. My favorite "cheese" cracker.

Count me in as a HUGE fan, too. I rarely buy these because they're a little pricey, but DAMN! They're amazing. I've thought about making my own before, but I don't know if anything homemade can compare. These are just the best!
Sorry, AC. That doesn't answer your question.
