Chevy's Tortillas

My friend is on a diet and I was helping her find nutritional information for something she ate at Chevy's, when I stumbled upon this piece of information:
All of their tortillas (corn and flour) are vegan, EXCEPT the ones that come off of "El Machino." Those contain whey for some reason....
Just thought I'd throw that out there, in case anyone ever goes to Chevy's (their website has a helpful list of vegan options too, fyi).
I spoke to friend that used to work at Chevy's and found out that while their tortillas are vegan, their red enchilada sauce contains beef stock. So for all of you ovo-lactos, don't order the cheese enchiladas! Thanks for the info Curiale

I used to work at El Toritos (sister company to Chevy's) and found out that a lot of the sauces have chicken or beef stock, including the white and red enchilada sauces. So, always ask the server before ordering.
enchilada sauces are almost always made with chicken or beef stock. Just a warning for ovo-lactos!
