Bundt cake beginner -- adapting recipes?

I just got my first bundt pan, and sadly it's not the standard 10 cup pan, it's a 9 cup pan. Of course, I didn't know this wasn't the normal size when I bought it. :/ I normally use a chocolate cake ("wacky/crazy" cake) recipe that uses a 9 x 13 pan, and from looking at a conversion chart, a 10 cup bundt can be subbed for a 9 x 13 pan.... so if I leave a little batter out, will it cook normally in a 9 cup bundt, or do recipes have to be further adjusted to cook properly? I'm nervous it'll be all soft in the middle! If it matters, it's a silicone pan. Thanks for any advice!
I've never had batter fill a bundt cake pan to the top, so you'll be okay. If anything, your crazy cake recipe will cook in less time than in a conventional cake pan because the cone in the middle part will allow more heat into that area. When you bake a cake in a bundt pan, check it a little early for doneness. Good luck!
