Apples, Plums, and Pears?

Hi everyone!
I have a LOT of pums, apples, and pears (5 pounds of ripe pears, 1.5 pounds of ripe plums, and 10 pounds of apples that have been in my frigerator for a week)... I've made plum cake and apple pie but I don't know what else to do with them now and I don't want them to go bad. Ideally, I would like to be able to make something and freeze it so we can have some later, but if I need I can bring it to classes and give it away to people. Any ideas??
Thanks!
Nicole
Apple sauce freezes well. You could also make the filling for any fruit pie or crisp and freeze it, then bake and top later. Cake freezes, so do muffins and quick breads. If you have JOVB, there is a really yummy pear tart in there, w/ a cheesecakey base and carmelly pears. Yabbit has a plum cake recipe on here I've been wanting to try, and Brandi's famous caramel apple pie is awesome(from here).
You can make fruit butter really easily. I think I submitted a recipe for it here somewhere. You can mix all three of these fruits with some wine, water, and spices (ginger, cinnamon and clove) and cook down with the sweetening of your choice. Just like making applesauce but you slowly simmer it until it gets thick and kind of dark in colour.
An apple/pear/plum cobbler would be easy and really good.
Thanks for the great ideas everyone!! I'll definitely make muffins/cakes I think, and freeze them for later... and a cobbler sounds great! I've tried fruit jams and butters before and I always burn them and ruin it :(. Having a gas burner, it's hard to turn down the heat low enough for just a "simmer," either it's boiling rigorously or the flame goes out.

Get a heat diffuser (aka flame tamer). Makes all the difference and they are supercheap. I grew up cooking with gas (no pun please--well, OK, go on then) and still do. I swear by them.
