I made a half-batch (I don't even own an 8x8 dish, so I put it in a 4x4 round dish) and I just put it in the oven. I used seasoned salt to give it a bit more flavor, and plenty of pepper.
Excellent with some modifications... I didn't have any tomatoes of any sort, and was out of spinach, but the sauce sounded great, so I used it as a base. So...
