Veggie Dog Recipes

I used the Burger Bun recipe from here (:D so good!) to make some "hot dog" rolls, so my mom bought a pack of the smartdogs. I've had one...when I heated it up the microwave, it smelled like a real one, which is kind of disgusting, but anyways, I want to know if anyone has any suggestions to use up the rest of them. In the spaghetti with O noodles recipe, someone left in the reviews that they chopped them up to make like the old spaghetti o's with hot dogs...maybe I'll try that? Suggestions?
Hot dogs were never meant to be enjoyed for their flavor... They and the bun are an excuse and vessel for condiments. So do what you would have done with a regular old hot dog: Load 'er up!
Ketchup, mustard, tabasco, relish, onions, (vegan) chili, nutritional yeast cheeze sauce, pickles, jalepenos... whatever you put on it, make sure it's lots.

I spray a frying pan with cooking spray and drown them in Braggs while they're cooking and it makes them taste amazing! Today I had a can of Amy's lentil soup and I just heated it up with some veggie dogs for extra protein. That was great too!

And you nuked it?! No wonder it was gross! I buy the same brand because it's all I can get. I love those things. I agree with CYETS... you need to atleast spray a pan with no-stick spray, or use olive oil. Then let them get browned. I haven't done the Braggs thing, though.
I like making beans and "franks." Just cut them up and mix them with a can of baked beans in a dish. I add some bbq sauce or ketchup and some spices and bake them for 10 minutes or so. Easy and delicious -- especially with some cornbread.
here down by the border, some of us like to wrap them in a flour tortilla
i highly advise against the microwave or boiling them because they get too soft and gooey, quick run in the pan or over is better
its not like you have to cook them or anything, just get them hot (much like real hot dogs - pre cooked balogna rolls)

I wrap the dogs in a corn tortilla with tooth picks and deep fry them. With some chipotle salsa...yum!
