What song is stuck in your head today?

WHY oh why is it that the song that gets stuck in your head and goes roundandround all day is never one you actually LIKE? In fact, it's usually one you hate!

And if not, you hate it by the end of the day.

Today I'm stuck with a song from "Guys and Dolls": Sit down you're rocking the boat.
Sigh.

What's in your head today?

And today I woke up with Fleetwood Mack's "Tusk." Yargh.

Sheesh, Yabbit. Your brain has picked some weird tunes. Hahaha!

"Tusk" is a good song, though. I remember when I first heard that song, it was on a concert video of Mac's. There was a camera on the drummer and every time he was shown, it cracked me up! When he plays, he has got some hilarious facial expressions. ;D

My song - thanks to Ms. IdrilAsphodel - "Lofticries" by Purity Ring. I love this song! :)

Hey, IdrilAsphodel, when does one get their Purity Ring? Is it when you go to (as referenced by Jessica Valenti) the Purity Ball? :P lol!

Less of a song and more like a ditty. I cleaned the house in a hurry the other day for some peeps to look at it, but they didnt even show up!! And at some point (maybe between shoving stuff in the clothes hamper and under the bed...) I "hid" a watch, or heart rate monitor, or some sort of timing device. It goes off every hour at *:06 with a very faint "beepbeep  dingdingding beepbeep  dingdingding  beepbeep...." for about 30 seconds, from somewhere that I am too effing lazy to search out, then for many minutes afterward I have the beepbeep dingdingding thing in my head.

Boogie Fever by the Sylvers.....again.  I blame my daughter, she was watching Despicable Me last night.  It's that Boogie Robot scene that sticks it in my head every time!

*puts on bellbottoms and platform shoes* *reaches for storm's hand* May I have this dance? ;D

Here, I'll switch it up - my song - "Boogie Nights" by Heatwave.

When I deejayed, I would start at 9 or 10p. Because the crowd was a little older at that hour, I would play 'Boogie Nights' and people enjoyed it. The last time I went to that bar, the DJ played hardcore rap (not the stuff you hear on the radio) and the dance floor was usually bare. I went up to the manager and said to him, "You know what this bar is missing? Me as DJ." It was always busy when I was there. I'm JFM. I know what I'm doing. ^-^

NON_VEGAN LYRICS ALERT!

I have been listening to Celtic music on last.fm and now have "Do Virgins taste better than those who are not?" by the Brobdingnagian Bards stuck in my head.  This is the best I could find on YouTube to share.  The video of the group I like was crappy but they do sing it better.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VY_mSeZpyas

Since yesterday, I'm stuck with Dolly Parton singing "I Will Always Love You." They used it as background music in something I was watching.
Deliver meeee!

maybe my dragon could eat your Dolly.  Oh, that won't work, she's not a virgin,  :(

Oh it would work, it's only Unicorns that need virgins.

And today I woke up to the theme song from the movie, "Nine To Five". I guess it's because I had to get up way early to make a physiotherapy appointment at 8.30 AM. "Tumble out of bed and stumble to the kitchen, pour myself a cup of ambition" indeed. Except I just take my thyroid meds and leave the house because if I want breakfast first I'd have to get up even earlier to allow for the 30 min absorption time.

Started out with "Carry On, My Wayward Son" by Kansas. Then it went into "Fish and Chips" by Jack Wild.
The DJ in my head is high. ;D

Alice Cooper, a song from "Welcome to My Nightmare." I think it's called "Stephen" but I'm not sure.

Here I go again,
Up and down alone,
All my friends went home

Don't Fear the Reaper?  You have my most profound sympathy!

I am fed up with half-assery.  Gah!  Take it away Frank...

  Po-jama people:
"Some people's hot
Some people's cold
Some people's not very
Swift to behold
Some people do it
Some see right through it
Some wear pajamas
If only they knew it

The pajama people are boring me to pieces
Feel like I am wasting my time
They all got flannel up 'n down 'em
A little trap-door back aroun' 'em
An' some cozy little footies on their mind"
